1. What is Knokke Foto? Knokke Foto is a digital platform where you can select and instantly purchase photos related to Knokke-Heist and the surrounding areas as digital downloads. We sell digital files exclusively.

2. Are there any physical products for sale? No, we exclusively offer digital files. No prints, frames, or other physical products will be shipped.

3. Where can I find the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy? The full General Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy can be found on separate pages on our website. By using the website and our services, you agree to these documents.


Purchases and Payments

4. How does the purchase process work? After selecting the desired photos and formats, you can check out through our payment module. Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

5. Which payment methods do you accept? We process payments through our external partner, Mollie. They support various common payment methods. The available options will be shown during the checkout process.

6. Are the prices inclusive of VAT? Yes, all prices listed on the website include the statutory VAT (if applicable) and exclude any transaction costs charged by the payment provider.

7. What should I do if my payment fails? As payments are handled via Mollie, Knokke Foto is not responsible for technical issues with the payment provider. We recommend trying again or choosing an alternative payment method. If the problem persists, please contact info@knokkefoto.be.


Downloads and Accounts

8. Where do I find my purchased photos? As a registered user, you can access your purchases at any time via your personal user account on our website.

9. How long is the download link valid? The download links through your account are considered 'permanent' as long as Knokke Foto operates the platform. However, we do not guarantee unlimited or perpetual availability. Please ensure you save the files locally.

10. What if I lose my downloaded files? You are responsible for securely storing the downloaded files yourself. While your purchases remain visible in your account, we strongly advise you to create a backup. Knokke Foto is not liable for the loss of your local copies.

11. Can I cancel a purchase or get a refund? No. Given the nature of the product (immediate digital download), the right of withdrawal is waived in accordance with European legislation on digital content at the time of delivery. A purchase is final, and no refunds will be granted.


License and Usage

12. Am I allowed to use the photos for anything? No. Upon purchase, you obtain a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal and non-commercial use.

15. Who owns the photos? All photos remain the property of Knokke Foto or its licensors. The purchase only grants you a right of use (license), not ownership.
